  • They will be doing some flu clinics in October and it’s possible they may be seeing some children then, but it is not yet decided.

  • Walk-in only, but would recommend calling first, especially if more than one child, family member getting shots, to get paperwork started.

  • $39.99 if not covered by insurance. Will try to use a discount card if it’s not covered.

Target Pharmacies, run by CVS

  • Flu shots for kids 3 years old and up

  • Walk-in available, can call or schedule online (via CVS’s regular website, but choosing the Target location)

  • $39.99, if not covered by insurance, but they have coupons and will try to get the price as low as they can for the customer. 

  • Text FLU to 287898 for info and scheduling for mini flu clinics in Target - will happen in dressing rooms as they are not being otherwise used. M-F 12-6pm, Sat. 11am-5pm

  • $5 gift card with flu shot.

  • No flumist.

Costco Pharmacies

  • Flu shots mostly for folks 12 years old and up, but up to pharmacist’s discretion.

  • Flumist for people 2 to 49.

  • Can do walk-in, but also can schedule appointments online, and see if insurance covers the vaccine.

  • $19.99 for regular flu shot, if not covered by insurance. 

  • $24.99 for Flumist, if not covered by insurance.

  • Walk-in only, 11am to 6pm M-F

  • $35.99 if not covered by insurance.

VaccineFinder.org - can also be a good tool to look up locations that might be offering flu vaccines. In doing our own research, some of the places it suggested as possibilities, also looked at first as if they did not have the vaccine, saying “Sorry, none of the vaccines you searched for are currently provided.” But after calling multiple places, the vaccines were actually available! The best method is always to call ahead to the location you would like to be seen at, and speak with someone in the pharmacy department.
